quick question.
I presume from looking at it that the steering lock is a different type of key to the ignition?
Does anybody know if you can get a key made if you dont have the original.
I have no key for my steering lock, and I would like to get it working.

If you don't have the key, you have to drill out the core and replace it the whole lock. I think Dave Silver has replacements. I've drilled mine ready, just not got round to getting the lock yet.

I have had keys made for barrrels before, but you have to take the barrel to the locksmith..can you get it out without destroying it?

Not really worth getting extra keys cut when the Neiman locks are so cheap and come with 2 keys, spring, rivett and washer. I bought a batch last time from ebay.de. Trying to remember how the old ones came out- I think if you can get it unlocked then after removing the rivet it just pops out. I have extra if you struggle to find one...  |
