Did all 400's come with 110 mph clocks regardless of year made? As I can see a lot of 100mph clocks on eBay advertised as 400 clocks

Yes - be patient you will find one - as I said earlier took me a few months to source mine - in your shoes I would leave the existing one on the bike until a 110mph clock comes up - The Kph clocks on the non UK models also went up to a higher KM reading than the 250s

That's got the same miles on it as my newly acquired CBR600F-N.

I am surprised that a NB style 400 speedo is hard to find- usually they go for not a lot when the bikes are broke. I wonder where they all went?
Speedo's are easy to work out- why can't the Ebay sellers get the 100mph and 110mph thing?
But also there was at least 3- possibly 4- slightly differing types of 250/400 tachometer for the N and NA models- the one discussed above and scored off Ebay with the "rev thru" red zone is more likely to have been off an early N model- probably on a "S" or "T" plate. Still a nice set though!

these are the clocks on my 250N of 1980 vintage. The chassis number is JHMCB250N2111510 I think that makes it an N-A? So I guess these clocks are original to my bike?

Still a nice set though! Sadly ebayers don't know what they are selling half the time. I sent one guy a message last week who was selling a brand new 6 into 1 for a 'CBX1100'. When I told him if he advertises them as for a CBX1000 he might get a few more hits, he basically told me to clear off !! I was only trying to help him.
