Yes 1982 - very likely to be 400NB - confirmed 100% if frame number begins 22*****. I was going to link you to the forum's model identifier that I worked so tirelessly on in the past to answer all your other questions. But having just looked at it for the first time in a few months, I've realised it currently resembles an abortion. Sometimes my blood really does boil of late. I need to log off and come back another time. Well done on the purchase anyway. Could you link me to the model identifier anyway please , ive tried finding it but cant seem to find it Seriously, don't bother going in there at the minute. I'm planning to try and get it back into some kind of order later. If you go in there now it will probably make no sense whatsoever....it really is rough.

Yes. But be warned, that colour is not O.E.M.

Another great point. Where is a thread that had around 22,000 views some time not to long ago and now hidden away? This thread was designed to answer so many questions alone. It definitely needs to be more prominent again.....once it's restored that is.

Another massive tell tail sign - the decals are not the genuine items. Don't even look clear coated on the tank.
But why worry? You are a restorer from memory?
