I would have loved to see him live on a non televised event - heard he fantastic surpassing his great TV performances
He had a good innings
Probably only Doddy and Jimmy Tarbuck left of that era now (go and see them while you have the chance)

never liked bruce forsyth but liked doddy and tarby monkhouse was good as well live he could talk about anything
