honda cb750 was launched at tokyo show in1966 mv followed in 1967 FWIW I believe the Honda CB750 was launched in Tokyo November 1968 some time after the MV was already in production , albeit in very limited numbers . I'd guess the first true "Superbike" the Kawasaki GPZ900 in mid 80s had first cassette gearbox?
