I'm only joking you are correct it was the model D but later Mr.Honda is supposed to have stated it had "fulfilled his Dream" of making a complete motorcycle so subsequent models were designated Model D Dream Brians the ejudicator on this one and we may both be wrong  |

Model D was first complete model ie frame and engine.But Mr.Honda was making bikes by bunging subsidiary engines into bike frames before.
