Who's done it? Please let us know.
The experts advise 'wet' fitting using lots of bubbles achieved by using 'cheap' washing up fluid.....it's the best way apparently.
Who has experience of this?

Mine were fitted like this Nick my wife's brother does it although he did not do it on my tank as they are original but did the panels, he does it with a tiny bit of washing up liquid & when it's in the right place he squeezes the liquid out with a plastic tool & the sticky bit does its job it doesn't seem like it will stick after but it does

Ha, the first ones I did, on my 400, I didn't have a clue & stuck them on dry. I was lucky & got away with it, but there's no chance of 'adjusting' them & if you get a bubble it would be very hard to get rid of. After googling it, I used water for the others, much easier. I found lots of soap wasn't necessary. You can slide them around to get them in the right place with water - I used a cleaned out squirty gun from some houshold cleaner or other. The parallel pin stripes on the 400NA are tricky to do though - they slid about all over the place!

The best way to fit them , is get them in position with the backing still on, then mark where they go with masking tape, remove the backing then spray the decal and panel with water with a little baby bath soap added then line the decal up with your masking tape then go for it, then squeegee it then remove the top film, works every time.

Thanks Guys.
I've got some panels I want to replace on my CBR and some have quite big decals fitted to them which have been sourced as new items - thus need fitting.
This should all help a lot.
