Hi folks
Just sent a text today to the chap I sold the 400SD to just to see how he is enjoying it these last two weeks. He said that it wouldn't keep running when hot so he is gonna treat it to a service and check the carbs when he has time. Now I know I only had it for 6 months but in the 900+ miles I clocked up, much of it 2-up, I never had any issues with the above problem he mentions.
Any thoughts?
Dave

I can only give advice based on my own experience.....which was not a Super Dream in this case but may be of some use and may be relevant.
Cutting out in the heat (based on that prior personal experience) sounds like electrical / ignition related.....so you could probably advise the buyer of the bike to explore that avenue first. Generator?
