Pete there are more people on this forum can answer this better than me but may be on some of the papers and documents ,log book etc think type 1 is full power frame number is 2300012 type 2 is low power frame number 320000 I think From log book frame no is 3203117

Looks an exciting buy , yep 400 clocks should be 110 mph though only about 50% of them on Ebay are ! I've got a 250 speedo you can have if you just want a mph one to be going on with .

that's a low power then I think it is roughly the same as a uk spec 250 and crouchy said it is only camshaft that is different he could verify that for you no doubt

Just thinking that The full power cam the same as the 250 cam? Could maybe some swap you one.

Once you have a ride on her, will it not drive like a 250 with a big bore kit? should have a bit more torque surely. Nice bike .

Update Wednesday
Loosened the banjo bolts on the callipers and freed the brakes
Looks like the brake lever piston has a problem
Decided to have a good look at the frame
Give most a clean down

Put it back together Plugs Out 6th Gear Turned Engine Over Put Battery on from 250 and.....
....Blow me down after a few tries it started and sounded good

Thanks - I have a 250 one will keep an eye on flea bay and the auto jumbles - one on eBay at moment wrong colour and I really want to get one with about 20k miles
