Nail biting stuff....
Pete, can you PM me your number and a good time this week to call? I'd like to chat to you about something we discussed at Towcester meet.

Well I am so pleased - its been a stressful week since I bought it due to poor communication by the seller Read through the log book and it looks as it if was registered originally in East Germany and re-registered in 1993 to a West German number plate Got both original ignition keys and one steering lock Its difficult to move as the front brakes are ceased on hence got it in garage and cant really take good photos Very little rust on it So here we go Seat is original cover and look how solid the base is for an original machine Look how clean the shocks are bbcode for imagesand the top nuts More shortly

So what will I do with it
Keep it simple I think
1) Front brakes off and refurbish 2) Clean all the paint work and chrome 3) Will have the Tank dent pulled out, then Tank Tail and Panels resprayed and new decals 4) Replace rear indicators 5) Replace Clock Key question should the 400 clock be 110 mph or 100mph
Lower priority
5) Put original spec mirrors on 6) Replace headlight rim
Only 2 thinks missing i) Battery ii) Grommet on tank for side panel
Plan for weekend A) Calipers off so I can move it around and check engine turns over B) Change oil and oil filter C) WD 40 down the cylinders D) Put battery on off the 250 E) See if it will start
Will start a new thread on registering a European Bike in the UK
