Okay I think it looks ok in these photos and a price was agreed and purchase made as I am a man if my word 😀 Now having a closer look you will see it's a bit of a crusty one 😂😂😂 but I love them so it's in good hands now Looks very much like mine when I got it the other year (same colour).. they do tidy up well. Keep it black , all the best ones are . Hi Graham, did you take any photos during your restoration, I hope to get mine somewhere close to yours, so any tips would be appreciated

Carl having looked at the photos it was the bike on Gumtree - the wire around the cables to the frame at the front of the engine is identical It was sold in Norfolk (Thetford) 2 weeks ago - it was not sold as part of a pair - See the photo in the Thread "tried to buy but sold" Not sure what you paid but it was advertised for £500 with the text make me an offer in the advert - that is also in the Thread Having looked at the photos it's more work than I would have time for Looking forward to seeing it restored Pete I'm sure you're right Pete, the guy I bought it off said he got the 2 days ago as a pair, he obviously deals in bikes, he denied any knowledge of the gumtree advert, which was a bit of a worry. He drove a very hard bargain and wouldn't budge much on his price, I paid £675 for the bike 😱 only because I have been looking for this particular model for a while and missed out befor on two occasions. As I said earlier probably paid £200 over the value, but I have also picked up sd's for £100-£250 in the last two years so it's the first time I've paid over the odds IMO. At the end of the day there worth what someone will pay. The seller did okay the other one he had he put on eBay last night and it's gone already.
