i know west bay well, been going there and weymouth for twenty odd years, they filmed "harbour lights there
with nick berry and tina hobley, we was there the one year when they were filming.

It's very biker friendly with bike parking aplenty although a bit expensive for a pint, great ride from here Taunton to chard over to crewkerne then Bridport & west bay just down the road 45 mins taking it easy.

I do like a good ride out down to West Bay Rich, a great place to go and the Chish and fips are not bad aswell better than the cheddar gorge ones.. looking to be out and about during June now, if it suits, fancy meeting up and ride out to WB sometime?

Yes that sounds like a plan it's a good ride there & bike friendly would you be taking your Kawasaki or have you got the Superdream on the road I can meet on either, afternoons good for me as I have to get back most evenings around 6.30 as wifey goes to work then so maybe a afternoon meet up would work

Totally agree....especially if oil has been kept fresh.
Highest mileage SD I've seen has been around 85K

Nick i remember my old first SD had under 15000 on the clock.....and I part exchanged it with 64000 done whilst in my ownership... Not bad in my opinion I lived on that first bike lol the only thing that went wrong was me snapping the cam chain adjuster bolt at me Nans on a visit
