Where do you buy your throttle cables from and do they fit.
Just purchased a pair from EBay 1. the throttle opener is fine the other is too long, email enquiry informed me they sell them as pair and do not offer another cable for Superdreams.
Ordered one from Wemoto and again the inner is 25mm two long.
So my question is who can supply throttle cables that do the job
Then had a thought! 59years ago when I started with bikes and throttle cables broke you could re-solder the nipple on again, re-tin the inner cable splay out the end and sweet it back in again, usually had to peel a bit of the outer cable away and job done.
Nothing to lose so put an old cable in vice out with blow lamp started warming the end and! yes you already know don't you? alloy nipple and it fell apart.
Oh for the good old days.
