Rocker Cover Inserts

They are to reduce resonance at certain engine speeds. The thin fins can vibrate- but it's more the sound they produce than any damage from the vibration. You will have heard it from some bikes- sort of a ringing sound when the engine is revved.

So they are a nice to have but not necessary....
