I had a drive over to see Paul today and took a bootload of bits for blasting. ( I really went to steal fungo`s carbs but they weren`t there.lol) This is the start of the long overdue restoration of My 1976 Honda tl125s. I bought this bike new in 1976, it cost £371, I ran it in for 500 miles or so then prepped it for trials, used it for a year or two on club trials then it was parked in the shed until about 1998 when i stripped it down to restore. I eventually got the frame powdercoated around 2001 and its still under the bench wrapped in the bubble wrap it came back in... I bought loads of nos bits for it over the last 20 years, and now I`ve finally decided to get my finger out and finish off what i started all those years ago. Here`s the only pic I have of it when it was new. I`ll start a bit of a thread on how its going if anyone is interested, but It will probably take a while to complete as its almost time to get the sd out for the summer, and riding is more important than restoring.

Sorting through my boxes of nos for the tl resto, Ifound this The bike was bought new from Alan Mountain in York but the original number plate is missing somewhere. A few years ago I got my nephew to call in and get a number plate from them, I'm glad I did as they are closed down now.
