Hello Any know the diameter clutch removal tool need for the Superdream 400? The Haynes manual simply says to make your own from "thick walled tubing of the correct diameter." And I've lent my vernier out. thanks.

Hello Any know the diameter clutch removal tool need for the Superdream 400? The Haynes manual simply says to make your own from "thick walled tubing of the correct diameter." Hi I bought this one: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/302163753762?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITThe guy makes them on a CNC macine - it was a really accurate fit but unfortunately my centre nut would not budge and requires an air driven impact wrench to shift it and luckily my plates all separated so I never needed to use it! But...... it will def do the job Hope this helps MIke

They look a well made tool,me been a cheapskate l made one from a socket. They are a better thing than Haynes who say make one from a bit of tube, at least with a socket type you can torque them up properly, and if need be use an impact wrench to loosen them.

Thanks very much. Crouchy: I had see that one for sale an think I will probably get it now on your recommendation Mike: Those look fantastically made but I don't think the guy has any to sell at the moment, I could send him an email I guess. Wazzbo: I've just upgraded all my sockets to a beautiful shiny new Bahco set and sold off the old ones!
