CB250N and CB400N SUPERDREAMS ROTOR PULLER Hi I am told that the Superdream Oil Filter 'Retaining Screw' doubles as a Rotor Puller. Can anyone confirm this?
The Puller is needed when the Rotor Bolt is Unscrewed and Removed. The Puller is screwed into Rotor Bolt screw thread and 'Turned Clockwise' to pull the Rotor off the Splines.
I have my own Puller Set so do not need to use this method. Would be interested to know if anone out there uses this means of Rotor removal.
Wilf

I haven't used it myself, I have a puller too, but a few others have said on here that they have used one as it's the same diameter & pitch thread.

I have never seen why anybody would risk using the flimsy and thin-walled oil filter housing bolt to pull the flywheel off. Remember it also houses the filter bypass valve as well.
Generic M20x1.5mm HT bolts can be had on Ebay for a couple of quid. Search for Honda flywheel puller and the scammers will sell you the same bolts for treble that....
