I only do genuine parts (except for silencers sometimes) but thanks for thinking of me.

Another picture of another IoM lighthouse we ticked off today - the Point of Ayre lighthouse on the northern tip of the island It's counterpart in the South will be a bit harder - it's on an island only accessible by boat!

reminded me of portland bill, great photo ian. The similarities don't end there Steve, it marks a similar narrow stretch of turbulant water. In this case separating the IoM from Scotland, about 20 miles away. You can often see it, but too hazy today

The Superdream quest for lighthouses is getting more difficult! The CIA are worried the photos will allow the North Koreans to get hold of the technology, so they've made the authorities restrict access, as we found when we went to Laxey today The journey was long & difficult in this quest, involving coffee & baps in Peel, followed by a fantastic traffic-free ride across the island on single track roads & farm tracks - who needs a GS1200 when you have a Superdream - then by coffee & cakes in Laxey, so we weren't going to be thwarted, even if the lighthouses are a little distant!

We busted the myth about silver ones being faster on the way to Laxey - it has nothing to do with pigment, it's the secret stash of rocket fuel 5* silver owners have! As we crossed the TT course, Chris pulled up at his pump We all joined in, keen to experience this sensation of speed This was a mistake - red one's simply cannot handle that power. This was the result as soon as Gill dropped the clutch Sorting this out seemed to baffle these two But after a quick trip into Douglas, Road & Track motorcycles provided a new spring link, they got the chain refitted and we were on our way to Laxey for coffee, cakes & lighthouses!

What surprised me was the chain was still on the bike, although off the sprockets, just sat there between the rear hub & output shaft. No bang, no locked rear wheel, I thought the clutch had gone. I'd always thought a broken chain would end up a mangled mess wrapped round the rear wheel.
