I don't know how long this thread will last! but I was out today for a spin and ended up at the point of ayre the most northerly point of the island infact I was only 17 miles from Scotland. I have based this thread on the popular superdream and phoneboxes thread
ps the ride was about 45mins and it took an hour and half to clean the bike

that little path is about 100m long I should of had the bike closer to me but wanted to show size of lighthouse. the main one is way back inland and much bigger, the whole area is a mass of stone banks down to the sea there is a big fog horn behind me but it does not sound anymore, its a shame because it had a lovely tone.

You lucky devil - been a lovely day today, but I was working. Same on Monday ( another nice day). Getting withdrawal symptoms now, haven't been on an SD since 2nd Jan.

Respect, getting up at that time every day. One of my stints at Marks was a 6am start, getting up at 5. I found it hard going & was glad when the 3 month contract was up. Finished at 1.30 today, sun was out & roads dry, so got a grocery run on the 400N . Managed to find a puddle of run-off from the fields though, so that's 3 bikes need cleaning now . Didn't manage a lighthouse though
