Hi guys, 125 TDE specific parts seem very difficult to get hold off in comparison to the 250 / 400.
My questions is, do the 250/400 share parts with the 125s?
The parts new are £25 + VAT and £30+ VAT, but wondering if the super dreams share components, in this case starter sprocket and chain drive for starting?
Thanks

Have you studied CMSNL parts diagrams? They are very helpful and should answer your questions.

Ive had a look at the parts diagrams on Fowler Parts which are good.
These are the part component code numbers;
Small sprocket 31202-216-154 Starting chain 28101-KB4-671
Only thing i can find that crosses over are Honda CMX (80s) which dont seem to really exist in the UK.

There's no chain on the 250/400 starters, all gear driven.

Hi Conrad, I'm in the middle of rebuilding a 125TDE, and yes, secondhand bits are hard to come by, but do come up on ebay from time to time. The starter sprocket & chain are available new, but expensive. The CA125 % CB250 Rebel uses the same part numbers, as does the later CB two fifty, for the starter bits you need
