The one where they turn up in one piece.
Is that actually an option?

With the 2nd class or signed for service it won't affect the the chances of it being broke in transit as all parcels get a bit of a bumpy ride so it's all in the packing really I don't mind paying a little more to give a bit of protection on the packing a bit of bubble wrap around each package won't cost the earth & it will reduce the chance fof a breakage.

I just thought for the signed for, it would not just be left for you to find later- if it obviously rattles then don't accept it? But the important thing about the mug supplier sending direct is that they can be responsible for replacing any breakages.
I am surprised at what makes it through sometimes- I ordered 3 glass thermometers last week thinking best of luck getting them here in one piece? The box arrived with a large crease in the middle so I took the time to photograph it still sealed ready for the damage claim. But all 3 were pristine.
My only beef with the girls in the local PO is that they insist on trying all my large letters in their slot before accepting them.....
