hi can anyone recommend a place to get a few bits plated I have emailed a couple of places that have not even bothered to reply maybe not interested is small jobs

I'm wary of sending parts of for plating as heard stories of lost parts getting someone else's parts etc. Lol.I bought some engine guards off a guy that had them rechromed but never used them only when I tried fitting them did I find they were wrong.

Don't know if it's just me Dave but that lady is very distracting I keep looking at it rather than read your post 😂😂😂😂😂

me thinks daves lady has been a bit of a distraction as no one has given me any ideas as to where I could send stuff to get rechromed ps not sure if this is a lady or not

You could try the one in Manc. The one Gordy Brock recommended to me. They seem okay.

I have used Mark @ R S Plating in Manchester a few years ago on a Honda CD175A (sloper) restoration, very pleased with the results (will try a post an image) He does not do any thing too complicated (he refused to re-chrome a luggage carrier) which I then sent to a firm in Kent...the result was OK but nothing like Marks work
