just curious how many members have non standard parts fitted to their bikes, a photo and reason why its fitted would be interesting.

My 250 is all genuine parts.
The 400:has pattern silencers, a pattern rear sprocket but only because I haven't got round to fitting the genuine one yet, a pattern seat cover and that's about it

Quite a few non standard bits on my bike  the exhaust because I like the noise  The high bars because they take the weight of my wrists ,make it much more comfortable to ride  The new seat cover as it goes with the new paint job . there are other non standard things but these are the main ones .The shocks too but they came with the bike and they work so why change them . |

Probably loads of pattern parts but favourite gadget is the clock my daughter gave me for Christmas 2 years ago

Thats something I've been looking at for ages and not got round to yet Being , er , economical , I have two bikes fitted with cheap "waterproof" quartz watches held to steering stem nuts with the strong double sided tape  , I have filed off the strap mounts so they are now round and less likely to be stolen as a watch ! |

I like the "patterns" suggestion on the spares counter not like that now , just need a ten digit number to punch into the computer , I also remember Bryants of Biggleswade where the FB guy took his damaged Bantam spindle in as a pattern for replacement and was told "we only sell good ones" |
