I know Terry- I also had no lessons and never fell off for 2 whole days! First time it rained.....

I remember speaking to an American friend and he was totally unaware that in other countries there was a complicated staged training, pass and capacity/power system? In the state he lives you can just go straight out and buy a fire breathing monster bike straight off....
