Yes we did! Bike was in good nick, even the silencers looked good. Just crushed for effect, but I think I have seen a longer clip where they did try and restore/repair it?

Found the complete episode of "Let It Ride".
I started the clip when the Hawk first appears- they buy it. Then at 24:55 for why they scrapped it....

I started recording this program when it was on TV, remember the episode well. The program turned out to be crap after watching 3 episodes I stopped watching it.
