Hi Another Newbie to the forum here,
I Used to have a very nice CB250T in 1988/89 which I got from a scrap man, he had it on the back of a truck and I had a Harley 125AMF which I was sick of so we swapped and I had a CB250T Dream & the look of the bike grabbed me.
Took that bike everywhere and then got together with a young lady and moved in with her, then one day all went wrong after I had been away for a weekend and she stabbed me and I got on the trusty CB250T and rode off (never saw her again) But that made me homeless so I sold the bike to get a deposit for a place to live & have always regretted it.
Never saw another one for years then one day saw a blue one at sandbanks in Dorset and knew I had to get another one, well that was years ago and a couple of weeks ago I saw a CB400T on ebay and bought it (needs light restoration but thats easy)

Not quite sure on the plan yet. The 1979 is not uk registered but is better condition with a low frame number for a USA CB400TI & I am really tempted to do it up but then there's Nova & uk registration etc to deal with, but that said it would be an easier project. The 1978 is UK registered but needs a lot of work and is all original, has an interesting history & being uk registered would be easier, plus its the same year as the one I originally owned
so the question is which one to do ? either way I want to change the tank to a dream tank and change the colour to Helios red, so a big dilemma suggestions welcome lol

Its the frame thats registered so maybe frame number one with all the best bits from bike two is the way to go ,depends how bad the 78 frame is .
