As I was walking round the NEC show with my mate looking at all the new bikes I came up with a term for bikes I liked but wouldn't want as my one and only bike. The term is a six numbers bike, which means if I got the six numbers up on the lottery I would have one sitting in my garage. So what would your six number bikes be, the rules are they have to be new and you're only allowed 3 and they have to be bikes you wouldn't want as your only bike. I know there are those of us who don't like modern bikes but this is for those of us who do, my game my rules My three would be: Yamaha XSR900 Abarth Ducati 1299 Panigale R KTM RC390

Not a great fan of modern bikes but....
Bonneville T120 in Red with polished casings Enfield Bullet 500
and in terms of modern looking bikes it would have to be one of the 600cc Ducatis, modern but small

Some very nice choices, the modern retro's seem popular. I must admit there were quite a few nice bikes on the Triumph stand. I really liked the Street Cup in yellow.

Sorry but new bikes just don't do it for me. I like my stuff with a bit of history. Apart from the work van, the newest thing in the fleet is 2003, and that's the wife's MX5, so even that's like driving an old British sports car.
