It all started ten days ago when one of my Borzois broke his leg had him to the vets as soon as they opened and discovered later that day he had bone cancer so we had to say goodbye.The week took an upward turn when my breeder friend Kym rang me and told me she had a Borzoi that needed rehoming so off I went to Nottingham to pick her up she's two and a half and she's brilliant she 's put a smile back on my face for a couple of days because then the car failed its test I had two new discs fitted and pads so all was well again till last night on the way to work when the battery light came on then it started overheating so I did a u turn and came back home ,spent this morning putting the bike back together rack on spare seat etc took it for a run to free off the brakes and top up with juice ready for work tonight ,the garage phoned at 5.30 to tell me the car was fixed but it was too late to collect it so I still have to freeze my nuts off going to work ,hopefully things will settle down now ,oh yes forget to mention I've had to raise my fence by a foot this week too as the new dog could jump the old one which is'nt good as she's a hunting dog and next door have rabbits ,heres hoping its all over now  |

Sorry to hear about your dog Terry you do get attached to them. My mate had to get his dog put down a few months back and he was charged £400. If it wasn't for bad luck you would have no luck at all Terry. Hopefully things will get better for you soon, all the best.

Struggling a bit , dare I say , I usually just disconnect the cable where it goes into the Speedo and insert through the straw a few squirts of duck oil or similar and that usually stops it for a good while , so may do that until I can have a good look ....

Ah well the bikes back out again for work tonight ,the fan belt I had fitted to the car just ten days ago has gone again so its back in the garage to find out why and get it sorted again   I've diconected the tacho cable and tied it off with a zip tie as I have'nt got round to sorting it yet and I can't put up with the screaming again |

Had a call from the garage this afternoon it needs four new pulleys and an alternator looking at £500 plus told them to get on with it ,he's got the pulleys but we're waiting on the alternator so it looks like I'm on the bike for a day or three .At least I have the gear to keep me dry and warm .
