My four in no particular order 1,400 Superdream , I loved my first one and nothings changed now I'm on my third . 2,Triumph Speedtwin 500 ,First "big bike" I ever rode it belonged to my mate and coming off a CD 175 I was amazed at the power 3,BSA C15 ,nothing special about these but I learned to ride on one so they will allways be near the top of my lists 4 BMW R90/6 like my Superdreams this one was special wish I still had it 5.Honda transalp 600v (or 650) never had one of these but I'd love one unlikely I'd get one as I run a one horse stable and I don't want to part with my Superdream

First 2 are easy
1) Honda H100A - my first Brand New bike and the one I passed my test on 2) BSA C15 - After 25 years gap in motorcycling bored at work one day put a stupid bid in on ebay and an hour later owned it - sold it on but bought a slightly older one 3) Bike I would love to own - 70's Bonny and of course 4) SD, First bike I rode pillion on but could not afford at the time - waited 33 years to own one - and of course it had to be black

Of bikes I've owned that I'd have again or made a difference to me : 1. SS50 - first bike and taste of freedom ! 2. Yamaha DT175MX , seemed so smooth and well suspended at the time . 3. Norton Commando MK3 , nice sound and loads of grunt 4. CB250N , like the SS50 but with more range ! Not so many bikes I lust after now maybe a "new" Commando ,XR1200 or even a Victory

Thanks for the thought provoking question Nick and it is harder than you would think to pick your all time favourites but in no particular order and for different reasons here goes :
1. - Yamaha RXS100 Energy Induction - First brand new bike I owned which served me very well, crashed it 3 times (first one only four days into ownership) but that wee bike never let me down. I used it every day all year round and was once told off by a police man for it being so dirty. 2. - Honda CBR600F (2001) - One of the best all round bikes ever made in my humble opinion it could handle everything riding hard, touring, two up etc. fantastic bike. And now it seems these types of practical sportsbikes are making a comeback with the likes of the Z1000SX, GSXS, R1200RS and Ducati have just announced a new Super Sport. 3. - Ducati 1198S - Absolutely beautiful machine and again in my opinion the nicest bike Ducati have ever made, stunning to look at but hard to live with, lumpy low down, hard on your wrists and back and only really made sense when caning it. A beautiful bike but a real danger to your licence. 4. - Aprilia AF1 Futura Sports Pro 125 - My second bike and another good looking bike, single sided swing arm on a 125 and good for 100mph. Great to look at but had reliability issues, I ended up pushing it most of the way to the dealers to trade it in for an XT600E. It was also responsible for my one and only (so far) speeding ticket. 5. Honda CB250N - I bought my first one when I still had the RXS100 in the early 90's with plans to chop it (See Avatar) I never finished it and still have it, but it was the reason I then more recently bought another one to rob for parts to finish the chop but ended up restoring it instead, although it's still a work in progress as well. It's also the cause of how I ended up on this forum with you bunch of numptie's so for that alone it deserves a mention in my top 5.

1) Kawasaki ZX7R extremely fun to ride just a bit too heavy these days. 2) Suzuki Bandit 1250 Very fun to ride 3) Suzuki Er100 loved to ride this bike slowly around the villages. 4) Honda CB250NDX Superdream love all the chrome
Yamaha SRX600, very good looking. Don't ride them much as I think they are boring to ride. SYM xs125k nice ride, fun to chuck around CBF250 was ok to ride

Some tasty bikes all around in member top fives......great stuff.....keep 'em coming.
But I agree - It is very very hard to whittle it down to five. If I win the lottery or make millions by other means I swear I would die by 'bike overkill'......would ride/polish myself to death I reckon - but what a way to go?
