I will have to get a copy- I was a subscriber for years but cancelled it last year as I found the type of bikes they were concentrating on were moving a bit too modern for my interests.....

Cheeky b*st*rds have used one of my photos of YJS in the model timeline! And then below in the description for the NB's state that the 400 kickstart was "deleted" from this model year onwards.

So..... innacurate journalism reigns again where our humble SD is concerned. A few weeks ago there was a chappy that silvers put onto me stating that he was writing for a mag and wanted some tips about Superdreams. I contacted him via email seeing if I could help but his response was a bit flippant / uninterested. I wonder if it was the same fella who wrote this latest article? It probably was judging buy what you've said, Paul.

There isn't much correct info in the article at all- says the NB's also gt twin pot brake calipers and black engines. The engine cutaway is a Dream engine.
Journo is a Alan Seeley- that the guy who contacted you? Photos are attributed to Honda and Bauer Archive- no mention of me....

Strange response the fella gave me - but then perhaps he was under pressure and the reason for this lazy approach to his research was because he had many plates to keep spinning in order to get the mag out in time. Shame the article is dross - not seen it yet but I certainly won't be in a fuss to see it if it is as inaccurate as you say, Paul. I'm not sure this PSB lot are the most thorough or knowledgeable of classic bike journalists - I had my CBR in that mag a few years ago and wasn't that impressed by the whole thing.....CMM make a much better job of their articles and general treatment of people from my experience.

Just seen the article in PSB whilst in Morrisons........and tbh, I think it is quite a good article. Some great period pictures have been used. Bar some errors, I think on the whole they have done a reasonable job - quite funny though as in a lot of places, it is just like reading my own wording (and that of others) on this forum. Well done PSB - it could have been a lot worse - I think you've done okay.

I think they gave the 250 a bit of a rattling though? Let's face it- after all these years any article will just be a re-hash of previous ones. I was going to scan and put it up here but it may have caused issues with copyright. Would have been interesting to be sued for posting up a scan of my own pirated photo though! Peeps will just have to do the honourable thing and go and read it in their local supermarket....

Oh, OK then! Imagine you are way over in the fresh bakery section, looking over to the hardware, books, magazines and newspapers aisle.....

Oh, OK then! Imagine you are way over in the fresh bakery section, looking over to the hardware, books, magazines and newspapers aisle..... Is this the lilliput version? On a serious note, I never knew how many tight arses we had on here.....well I did actually. At least I bought a scotch egg in Morrisons even though I didn't go as far as being compelled enough to purchase the mag - so I am still helping the economy......right? right?
