Lucky begger, I was destined to leave my bikes in the sheds and take the car up to Kirby Underdale where we went for a 3 hour walk. nearly as enjoyable as a bike ride but not quite...   |

Mrs and I (+daughter) go Whit week and August Bank holiday week - you caught it on one of its better days - normally P!55ing down with rain or very windy
Can thoroughly recommend Dave's Restaurant on the high street for a really good lunch next time you are there
Went there when I was about 5, the cafe you took the photo of was exactly the same in the 60's - left my prize collection of plastic boats in there and never got them back
