I'll need new front and rear tyres for my Superdream project bike. It's a 1979 with Comstars. What are the best tyre choices, and do I need inner tubes? Thanks in anticipation...Pem...

Think they need tubes if they are the original comstars as opposed to reverse comstars, I use Avon roadrider tyres on mine 90/90 19 front and 110/90 18 rear, I assume these can be used with inner tubes. They offer good performance but downside is they don't look very period.

If you want period looking tyres the Dunlop tt100's are pretty good . 3.60 x19 front 4.10x18 rear These are tube type tyres, not the cheapest but I like them and they look right
Dan is right your wheels are tube type.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the feedback...I won't be getting my knee down any time soon, so fairly grippy and looking right works for me!
Looking on the net right now and struggling to find a supplier....any thoughts?
