I have been trying all week- all week! to get this years bike insurance sorted. Carole Smash wanted another 25% premium to renew my Rider Policy? The robbing scum have put up their "broker fee" from £15 to £55. And of course the other robbing scum- our government- are taking more "insurance tax" than ever before. What IS that all about- friggin' taxed all ways!
Anyway much frustration, shouting and head banging on the phone later I have got nowhere. Nowhere. Wasted hours. Will try again Tuesday to get to speak to somebody sensible and "trained" to deal with their Rider Policy. Or someone that will bother their ar*e to phone me back. Or will realise that bikes kept in a locked, shuttered secure business premises with certified alarm system with landline and 3G dial-out trigger detection and 24 hour monitored CCTV, etc. etc. might just be in a safer place than a "locked shed".
When Karen arrived went into Brigg for a coffee to calm down. Must have just "mentioned" it slightly at the counter (I am a regular) because the very nice girl brought me my cappuccino like this....
