OK , so here,s the thing just back a week from my hols and though the sun shines in the med and yes I reckon it,s too hot to wear full gear , jackets etc when travelling at low speeds on a scooter or similar , but flip flops , you just would,nt would yer , or is it just me 😂

I see terrible things nowadays- just yesterday a MT09 pulled into the local petrol station with somebodies precious 10 year oldish son riding pillion in trainers, T shirt and no gloves...

I hate to see kids on the back of bikes without all the gear, I can deal with riders wearing what they want even if I wouldn't because they know the risks, but letting the kids on the back in trainers and t shirts is just wrong.

Yes very scary , I used to take my kids on the back for a short ride but they had decent gear , unfortunately they don't seem interested anymore ....

Slightly different but when people allow kids to lie across the parcel shelf in a car as I saw yesterday, nothing is surprising. Very sad. Been to too many road traffic accidents to make me even consider for a second that full protection isn't worth donning. The lightest I go is padded motorcycle jeans and padded summer jacket but always gloves, boots and a full face shoei helmet.

Flip flops? Never... I wore crocs on the bike once but see those holes? That's where all my dignity leaked out..
