evening all
after seeing the new beginners guide to stripping the carbs have given me this idea
what do you all think about creating a 'HOW TO SECTION'
you lot have obviously got the knowledge
this would be so helpful to all us newbies to superdream ownership
this could include all basic servicing, repairs, maintenance and more in-depth stuff
it seems there are lot of people asking the same questions so a how to guide would be great

Playing devils Advocate and Hate being funny ...but have you considered reading the manuals or searching the site? Plus Loads of "how to stuff" on Utube.. There is a lot of how to ish stuff on the web site and its impossible to predict what people are going to ask. Plus it gives us smart asses something to do lol.. I too get stuck from time to time, and have learn't the hard way, some times the expensive way as well. So it nice being able to chat and find out a possible solution. But after all its my hobby, so i really don't mind that much. If I get it wrong I will just try again to I get the result I want. Something I really can't be bothered with like painting, that will be the case till it gets really expensive, then I will start to teach my self. I like helping out if possible..If you point some one in the right direct its really good when they get it sorted. You never know I might bump into that bike one day and take it for a spin ..you never know your luck...

Have you been vetted Peter?
I don't recall seeing your passport as yet.

I like to think of forums such as this as a pub rather than a library whereby we 'chat' about bike stuff. I am a novice on here so aren't yet able to offer much help but on another forum whereby I am a moderator and an 'expert', I am happy to help as often as I can, even if I have repeated myself many times prior.
If folk are happy to help then I don't see a need for the new section.

This has always been like an on-line biker pub to me as well - at least 85% social and banter. I don't like any form of 'hierarchy' on line.
If people take offence to anyone's words they can go outside and 'discuss' it.....then hopefully all will be okay the day after with no grudges held.
But does the above happen in real 'forum' life? Tough one......
