Coming home from the NE area yesterday on my new acquisition I could not help not to notice quite a few modern bikes around '13 plate onwards on the motorway......and what struck me is how their number plates / tail tidy section on all of them were 'shaking' into oblivion.
Not an attractive feature - a wobbly arse.

I removed the rear on my CBR as the rear number plate indicator holder looked horrible I stuck & R&G tail tidy on it looks a lot better but it does wobble when riding along but sometimes a wobbly arse is a good sight

The worst bike I had for this was a Ducati Multistrada I actually had people tell me to check the screws as they thought it was loose, it wasn't but it shook like mad. It was rubber mounted which I think was the root of the vibrations. I think a lot of more modern bikes are like this due to seat units getting smaller, plus I think there is legislation which states the back wheel cannot be the furthest back point of the bike, which means another part of the bike must protrude past the back wheel hence the number plates being stuck way out on plastic stalks.
