My front left indicator does not work and the fixing for the front right is also damaged, so I ordered two new indicators (they came via wemoto but are from David Silver). I have tried both of these with the connection behind the front headlight and neither seem to work! This seems a bit strange. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Is the flasher can ok?
The handlebar switch contacts ok?
Are the connector blocks clean with no corrosion on any of the wire connectors?

Thanks for the advice. The 'bullet' connections are OK (as the one working indicator works when plugged into either side - which would also suggest that the switch itself is OK). I prized apart the multi-wire plastic bit today and cleaned the connections as best I could but no luck. The indictors are single wire type and I can't see where they earth to, though it would seem it uses the headlamp casing as there is a wire that connects one side to the other.
Such a pain, the bike has been so reliable apart from electrical niggles.

The single wire ones earth through the metal strip that the mounting bolt goes through, you can see it in the pic that bolts it it to the ear, then the headlamp mounting bolt has a mounting on it for the connector blocks which have a green earth wire attached, each side has a separate earth that plugs in to the green wires in the loom. the right indicator live goes to the blue wire and the left goes to the orange wire
