I have been aware of this forum for sometime and have finally joined! I started out with a 1980 250n back in 1991 after passing my part 2 graduating from a GS125. Lets say that my 250n was cosmetically challenged (a real rat) but proved to be reliable and I covered many miles to bike rallies but mainly to work! In 1992 I bought my 1979 400n which again was very rough. I rebuilt the engine with valves, guides, pistons, shell bearings and all chains etc. The rest of the bike was heavily modified into a stretched chop. This I used for many years until I built a GS650 Katana from parts then a GPz900R before re-commissioning the chop with a 250 engine. The 400 engine went back in but in 2005 this was finally laid up in favour of British iron in the form of a Royal Enfield Mk1 750 Interceptor. I have always planned to bring the 400n back to life and that time is now. Again, it won't be a standard bike but it will be celebrating everything superdream.

Hello DMC.
Welcome to our forum. As I'm sure you know,. you share the same initials as a famous car manufacturer which was based in Northern Ireland some years ago.
