Our bikes are getting attractive to thieves. I heard through Facebook last week of a poor guy that lost his SD in Hull- owned it since new- restored it- rode it in the tenfoot behind his house and that night it was gone.....

35 years on and nothing has changed.
Stolen Superdreams are still being thrashed, set on fire and drowned across fields by gypo's and those of the same ilk.

Bike thieving not new in fact likely less than there was as not so easy to break and sell stuff on ie "breakers".had my Honda 750 nicked to order in 1981 by HA members from Wiltshire,they were caught in act and only damage was chopped ignition wires

That was my biggest worry when I sold my last cb250n kicker.Sure it will turn up some where after has a new set of everything.
