Last night I removed my bent original bars for a set of used pattern bars I bought of ebay a while back , I must say I,m not impressed they feel uncomfortable, sore neck and shoulders after a 15 mile ride to work this morning , I,ve adjusted them tonight and still not sure , I,ll give them another chance see how they feel over the weekend , not a happy bunny .....

All my SDs have pattern bars. I got the NA bars from Silvers about 8 years ago. The 250 bars were on it when I got it, so I don't know their origin, but they are very comfy. I rode 140 miles from the Wales meet to Liverpool in one hit without a problem & I have severe arthritis in my neck. The NA is a different story, I find it very uncomfortable now, so I did a bit of measuring & the bars are about 20mm longer on each side. I think that might be my problem, so I'm going to have a go at cutting them down.
