i had 3 sports bikes a yam fzr1000 ru did one track day on it did no more to big and heavy sold last year then there was my suzuki rgv250 what a bike did a lot of laps at cadwell on that bike but you need a 18 year old head and body to ride one well.now gone regretfully.then there was my vfr.the bike was a nc30 mk2.the best off the bunch only topped by the rvf,the one you are after is the nc24 but there both the same size.as i remember you are about the same hight as me and found it very comfortable to ride on the road.mine had spent most off its time on the track ex race bike hrc air box carb mods tygra exhaust and a m max cdi gives another 1500 revs and takes the restrictors out.but still a ridable bike on the road, sold to a frends daughter last month with the understanding i get first refusal.all the info on these bikes go to the 400greybike .com.why did i sell it because i am following two on ebay.

This NC24 seems to have had quite an interesting history. I found this from last year - when it was sold to the current vendor. Has anyone actually heard of Blue Fox Honda Team racing before? automotoclassicsale.com/node/15867

a nice piece of fiction fungo but whats worrying the only reason you would put a breather on the engine filler oil level plug is its pressuring up and blowing oil in to the air filter through the proper breather, why would honda mess with nc24s when the nc30 was out in 1988.the engines are bulletproof but you will need deep pockets if it as issues

Cheers Mark. You think the bike may have issues? I was wondering about that breather. Anyone else have any thoughts?

I emailed the vendor with Mark's concern today (breather). He's not a very knowledgeable kid but he kindly re-assured me that the bike runs fine and there is no sign of any high pressure or other issues.
He took a pic of where that pipe goes to - which is a clear plastic box behind the LHS seat panel - looks totally clean - no oil evident - the expansion tank also has Japanese writing on it - believed to be a Jap racing mod which probably does nothing for the performance to be fair. I don't think it's a concern at all (in this case). He also said to come back and have a ride out on it if I stil wasn't satisfied. I don't think we can argue with that. I'll risk it for a biscuit. Will get down there again in a week or so and pick her up.

Probably not there for performance but could be to prevent oil getting on the track

Always the problem with a new project (the extra spend).
Genuine ML0 K1 silencer on its way from Japan (they speak good English) and YR-138M paint on its way from Germany....
We are getting there (potentially).
