Don't forget good old fashion elbow grease. Oh and the occasional can of Red Stripe......for when things get really quite tricky.

I love recycling unwanted crap into useful garage equipment. An old dishwasher for instance makes a great parts washer. A beer fridge is also a must-have.

I can't help but think my ideal garage could be in my living room if I was a single man... but as I am not, then I would wish for a similar large space with good lighting, comfort and warmth ;-)

Alloy castings don't like normal dishwasher tablets, it turns black. Not a problem if you're going to polish/paint afterwards. I still need to experiment with some proper industrial detergents.

Get rid of some of those CMS keyrings Dave.....then you may have room to actually breathe.....the fridge will follow.

If the wife would let me get rid of her greenhouse I`d have room for an extension for the fridge Nick, but there`s no chance of that....yet

Coming back on what you just said.....
Is a Greenhouse a good environment to store a bike or do you think it would 'sweat'... ?
A mate asked me this a week ago and I just did not know the answer.
