Hi all. After years of owning various bikes, I decided it was time to buy one with a bit of history and character. I have just turned 50 and wanted something to remind me of days past. Ltd,s and Gs,s were on the list but a super dream like my brother had came up and it was too good to bypass. I now own a 1978 400 super dream with only 4000 miles on it. Although it is in good condition for a bike of its age I am going to try and bring it back to showroom condition. I may well be asking for you guys expertise and advice. Vernon. Holbeach lincs This pic is brothers 250 and this photo is about 33 or 34 years old

You can tell the model etc just from that ? Well period photos show the bikes in more original configuration and that bike looks pretty new. It is shouting 1980 CB250NA from a few unique details. We do see some "bitsa" bikes for sale now where it's difficult to pin down the actual model. If you check out the model guide on here you will rapidly become as sad as we are at recognising the versions! Thanks for posting the photo!

Over the years there have been various Superdream sites, but this is by far the best I have come across

Time to make a start on my bike. Have acquired a bench grinder and a plethora of polishing paraphernalia. But before I butcher my bike I thought I would do a test piece. Before and current condition pictures below. Those who know what bike I have will spot the rookie mistake.
