Privileged enough to have lived in the Midlands for around ten years now. I had a few beers one night in Stratford with a bloke who claimed he was the 'stunt rider' on Boon. These days you have to take what you hear with a pinch of salt......but I had no reason to disbelieve this guy. From what he said, Michael Elphick had no interest in bikes at all....just a role he played and as most great actors, he carried it off very well on screen.
