still would love one of them, had a NC21 and that was fantastic, it just wanted you to go faster and faster on it, spent a long time doing it up even did a blog about it, therandommusingsofconnor73.blogspot.co.uk then someone decided that they wanted it more than me and stole it. Nice blog. That's the NC24 though is it not, Connor73? Such a shame it was nicked after all that hard work......b*stards. Yes you are correct , its been a while.

Lovely condition but a tad expensive for a bike that parts are hard to get, cracking engines tho, just gotta watch out for the condition of the collector box and they are a pig to change. you could get a great NC30 for that money.

NC30 certainly has the edge on looks - they stuck the pipe on the other side to show off the rear wheel a bit more.
Gorgeous.

What parts would you say are difficult to get? I've already located a very nice used silencer - apparently a few websites claimed they were impossible to find.

I guess any parts are obtainable if you know where to look, there was an aftermarket stainless exhaust and collector that was around for a while, not sure if you can still get them, I suppose they are no harder to maintain than your average super dream i guess.
This has got me all nostalgic now, such fun to ride.

I would Nick but I had an email from a very nice man in Nigeria who said his Granny had died and left him a few million pounds, but he has only got a post office account and they won't accept such a big cheque. So he is going to put the money into my account and I can keep 50% he took my bank details, but it seems there has been an error of some kind as he seems to have taken the £5.97 I had in there. But once we have sorted this and I get my millions I will email you the £4000. Now if you just want to PM me your bank details I will get it sorted as soon as possible. You've recently advertised on Gumtree as well then? I've had this twice now on there - this version of the story almost being 100% to the word. How very dare you, I hope your not suggesting my new Nigerian friend was not being anything other than one hundred percent truthful

I know the feeling Conner, I had a mint TDR250 that was pinched from a locked garage, I did manage to get it back after they had trashed it over the quarry cut the exhausts off bent the forks removed all the plastics and hand painted it Matt black. That was 5 years ago and I still get very hot under the collar when I think about it ? It appeared on eBay about 8months after it was knicked but the police were woful, and the seller was no better, as all the numbers they had for it matched they wouldn't entertain the fact it was stolen and given new details, but i could have supplied hundreds or pictures to prove it was the same bike, the police even said i should have gone to see it and call them when i was there. I know it wasn't mine and i had been paid out by the insurance company (for what they thought it was worth, not what it was worth to me) but the fact that i could prove it was my old bike and the principle of the thing maddened me that nothing could be done.

Gorgeous mini VFR. The V4 engine is just addictive. The Pipes are on the left so the wheel can come off/on PDQ. Not quite on piste, but love this: youtu.be/nBQV7EonOXM Ron Haslam Transatlantic Challenge on Viffer straight from the high st dealer!
