Why do I find myself keep looking at these little retro pocket rockets more and more of late?? .....gotta stop it. It's a mid-life thing. At 41 , am I mid life as yet? Probably not for another ten years.... Still keep looking at 'em though. Dammit.

Anyone ever had one?
Fantastic machine to look at. Just about still affordable (forget the big brother now unless you win the lottery).......NC24 cheaper and less sought after.

Nothing wrong with you, Dont worry its just a normal thing to do for any age motorcycliste, Ive had an aprillia rs250 for last 7 years for my track bike and sometimes on the road. I couldnt imagine life without it. If you didnt get a stiffy with one of those little bikes you must be dead or snipped.

It's ironic I sold my nc30 today sorry it's yesterday now they are the best bike below 500 cc ever made. I WILL never ride it and was the last of my sports bikes.I now the lass who has it, gone to a good home they are starting to go for big money. IT'S the court cace soon for my accident if I get what there fighting for I might treat myself to its big brother the rc30 to sit in the hall of my new mansion in my dreams. fungodat they are one of the best sports bikes made if you can get one with the original trim for the right price you get it if you do not I will.

Cheers Mark.
Never been a *massive* fan of faired sports bikes.....but there was always something about these for me even back when I first saw one around 1988......the colours and the look of that rear wheel from the RHS.....(let alone the performance).

My stepson has one of these in Castrol race colours, looks like a "baby" RC45.He did track days on it and in right hands will outpace bigger sportsbikes on track.Says I can have a go on it before he sells it soon but I wouldn't fit on it lol

Go on Nick buy one you know you want to and they will only increase in value. The notion isn't going to go away and you'll end up buying one at some point but spending more. In a way if you buy one now your saving yourself money. Well that's the way I would convince myself

I would Nick but I had an email from a very nice man in Nigeria who said his Granny had died and left him a few million pounds, but he has only got a post office account and they won't accept such a big cheque. So he is going to put the money into my account and I can keep 50% he took my bank details, but it seems there has been an error of some kind as he seems to have taken the £5.97 I had in there. But once we have sorted this and I get my millions I will email you the £4000. Now if you just want to PM me your bank details I will get it sorted as soon as possible.

still would love one of them, had a NC21 and that was fantastic, it just wanted you to go faster and faster on it, spent a long time doing it up even did a blog about it, therandommusingsofconnor73.blogspot.co.uk then someone decided that they wanted it more than me and stole it.

You've recently advertised on Gumtree as well then? I've had this twice now on there - this version of the story almost being 100% to the word.
