I've never been a fan of politics on forums unless they directly affect us and our bikes / parts ....so a very quick question.
Is it within our interest to remain part of the EU in respect of buying Superdream parts from Germany? I suspect I know the answer already.

No import duties from EU countries, so that helps.

No , Will not make much difference, the parts will still be available! Still cheaper than America as they have DHL to send the stuff! Why should it change, do we not trust our polititions? Could we get 485 million superdream parts into two garages anyway?

My concern is that we will pay import duty on the parts..... Yes or no? Anyone read the Daily Fail of late?

If you talk to the young folk, it seem the majority want to stay in the EU,I think us old farts should be banned from voting ,and leave the decision to them, its their future, let them decide. Our generations have made enough of a mess of things already over the last few decades.

ref:duty on parts. you would not pay duty on second hand low value stuff.. So if you bought a seat then no if you bought a bike running then yes.. But I just dismantle it so it did not run and then its parts and no. I really like the idea of a restriction free Europe ie( travel work export wise) just don't believe that we can afford to support two political institutions. So I think either get rid of the British government or European one. I really don't understand why we have to pay all that money into Europe, It would be better if we just pay are own MEP's etc. if everyone did this Europe would be a better system for the little man. Because at the minute its only for the super rich and big business. Yes I am saying it totally and utterly corrupted by money. You only have to look at how they treated Greece.

I seem to remember a figure of around £18.00, whether it is new or used. Anything over that figure and you pay duty plus a handling fee. I'll see if I can find up to date values. EDIT: HERE you go. Mike

Anyone who does not vote out will come to regret it and also their children will suffer in future years. Why did so many have to die in a world war? So our country could be given to bureaucrats who are accountable to no one? If so then they died for nothing, they were just cannon fodder. Do not take their sacrifice lightly, they died so that we might live in freedom and make our own laws, not have foreign laws foisted upon us. Freedom always has a price!
I am willing to [ay a bit more for Super Dream parts as long as I can be free of the EU shower of S**t!!

Is it not the "Common Market" any more then? That's what we signed up for- not straight bananas and asthmatic vacuum cleaners......
