When you all owned your Super Dreams back in the day the internet was at least 18 years away......
How did you all cope? Was it better or worse?.......no sharing of pictures of bikes, no on-line parts or bike searches etc etc.....I just cannot imagine it now, but this is how it was.

no internet, no mobiles, it was heaven, wanted a part for the bike i just went to kings of birmingham, parts were
plentiful, now though with parts getting less and less, the superdream would certainly disappear without internet and ebay.

In my opinion it was worse without it.
Yes, we would be lost without the internet I`m afraid, but at least I`d have room to move in my sheds, instead of falling over superdreams and and superdream parts.lol
Through the net and especially this forum I wouldn`t have met or talked to so many good friendly people, or learnt so much about the bikes I`ve grown to love.
As steve said, I think the superdreams would disappear, or what were left wouldn`t be so well restored as a lot of them are now.

I think it would definitely be harder for someone trying to restore a Superdream without the tinterweb, but I also think it would be cheaper as the audience would be a lot smaller and parts would only be found by those who really took the bother to hunt them out.

I think the Internet is great & life is better with it than it would be without it
BUT for some it takes over their lives & youngsters have stopped going outside to play now instead they meet their mates online a lot more than is healthy,
I watched "addicted to your smart phone on ITV 4th Feb 7.30pm & it really was a eye opener worth watching if you can on catch up TV
