I can see from what you have said how they can make one's blood boil though.....my biggest beef is the mid term change.....£25 with my current insurer.

you only find out how good a insurance company is on the day you need to use them, carol nash is the only one that has modern and agreed value classics on the same policy.and i did shop about and nobody does the same.and trying to insure a 1949 g80 matchless when they say there records only go to 1960 and they only show the chinese copy,dave i did find the person when i changed over back to a two wheeled policy knowledgeable but did go a couple of times away for advice.was with loyds up till 2002 had a rider policy,had that for about 20 years the then they stopped it.as i say you find out how good they are when you need them the last 17 months they have been excellent dealing with all my problems assisting with benefits and my rehabilitation which is still ongoing got 6 months to get the leg working if not a aftermarket one will be fitted.so just remember cheapest may not be the best
