Reading an old bike mag (Bike may 2015) when i came across a basket case rebuild pictured. The guy points out that an SD is difficult to restore but two quotations at the end are mint. 1st " One thing i did learn was that blokes who restore Superdreams are complete Nut - jobs....in a good way." And secondly he says " SD owners have an obsessive following a bit like a weird cult of plastic maggoty Superdream people." .......whats Your thoughts guys?  |

Irene may take issue with the blokes bit though. I think his attack was based purely on the fact that he wasnt up to the task. His creation isnt the best ive seen after all ?

I just think that he was not raised correctly, as their was not a need to slag anyone off.
Never had a mother gnawing his ear, with the saying "If you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all!".
At the end of the day we are all bikers and love riding them. I've never know any one turn down the chance for a spin on something different.
So I'd say stop being a Pratt.

I don't think he meant to be offensive, he just said some of us are nut-jobs in a good way and that we are obsessive I think the existence of this forum proves that, although I think he may be getting us mixed up with those CX500 owners ref the plastic maggot reference, now there is a bunch of nut jobs, I mean a CX500 come on |

When my other half is describing someone who in cruder times may have been described as "not the full shilling" she would refer to them as special, so I would agree Nick we probably are a little special.
